UPrato kit distribution and drop off points
Pick up your free UPrato kit at one of three locations. The kit contains a ball of yarn and easy to follow instructions to create your own colorful 10×10 or 20×20 patch, personalized with your individual tag. Your square will be stitched into the grande UPrato banner. Please return it as soon as you’re done knitting, and no later than June 13. Locations:

Knitting in public, Giardino Buonamici, Piazza Buonamici / 18,00-20,00
Join us for an evening of knitting accompanied by refreshments in this beautiful park at the headquarters of the Province of Prato. We’ll provide the UPrato kit that contains everything you need to make your contribution to the UPrato Banner. Visit to Palazzo Pretorio + Yarnbombing + Knitting in public, Piazza del Comune / 17,00 – 19,00
One final knitting in public for this worldwide event. Join us in the Piazza in front of Prato’s city hall to stitch the final squares onto the installation.
At 5pm all those who contributed a square may use the entry ticket provided in the kit for a special visit to Palazzo Pretorio.
At 6:30pm the installation will be revealed on the facade of the building.

Some of the squares made by citizens and companies involved in the UPrato project will be be donated to KasCare, Aid for AIDS Orphans, a nonprofit organization who accepts 20×20 squares to stitch together and provide warm blankets and knitted items for orphaned children with AIDS living in Lindiwe and Wandile, South Africa.Tweet
